Where should I start? With a failed attempted run this morning that lead to me puking and falling back to sleep for two hours? I’m unsure if I ate an awful apricot or I accidentally OD’d myself with a drugstore of meds I took last night. Either way, I felt terrible. Bug kissed me good-bye … Continue reading »

It’s My Book Birthday!
It’s out! It’s out! My novella, REBEL, is officially on sale today! If you’ve followed me Twitter or here on the blog, you know this past year hasn’t exactly been my best ever. Unfortunately, my writing suffered because of it, and I spent months struggling to scratch out a few measly words a week. Writing … Continue reading »
Piracy…Is It a Marketing Thing?
Earlier this week, Freakonomics published STEAL THIS E-BOOK, and anti-DRM advocates cheered. It appears, at least based on Tor’s experience with one imprint, that piracy didn’t increase with the removal of DRM. I admit, I felt victorious. For the past few years, I’ve been swimming upstream. Most writers live in fear of piracy. They freak … Continue reading »

Last week, I spent several days at the Romantic Times conference in Kansas City, laughing with friends, sitting on panels, making new friends, and meeting fans. It was a fantastic week. I put together a short, very non-professional video of Teen Day madness for my son who couldn’t attend. My husband has informed me that … Continue reading »

My Video for Indie Author Month
Margaret Skipper, the very dedicated organizer of Indie Author Month on ALove4Lit.blogspot.com, invited me to do an author chat earlier this week. We chatted books, inspiration, sequels, Larkstorm, Crushed, and how I’ve never been a boy. Make sure to take a moment to check out the blog too – I’m sure you’ll find a new … Continue reading »
CRUSHED Has a New Cover
Sometimes, even good things need to change. Such is the case with Crushed’s cover. While the original worked in digital format, it didn’t translate well to paperback. The new cover has the same image, but it’s been manipulated differently & the font has been updated. But most importantly, I love it!
